ANDREWS SWEEPS SPRINT CUP, NATIONWIDE, TRUCK AND ARCA CHAMPIONSHIPS
With a fifteenth place finish in Sundays Ford EcoBoost 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway, Brad Keselowski (Penske Racing) won his first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Championship and also gave Penske Racing their first Sprint Cup Series Championship. This is the fourth Sprint Cup championship for the Andrews A431 Transmission in the last five years. Jeff Gordon (Hendrick Motorsports) won the race, which gave the Andrews A431 Transmission it’s twentieth race win out of the thirty six race 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup season.
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. (Roush Fenway Racing) finished sixth in Saturday’s Ford EcoBoost 300, which clinched his back to back NASCAR Nationwide Series championships and also gave the Andrews A431 Transmission its own back to back championships as well. Regan Smith (JR Motorsports) won the Nationwide race on his first outing for JR Motorsports and in the Camping World Truck Series; James Buescher’s (Turner Motorsports) thirteenth place finish was enough to secure his first series championship.
Our congratulations and thanks go out to everyone at Penske Racing, Roush Fenway Racing, Turner Motorsports and Roulo Brothers Racing for their 2012 championship seasons and to all of our customers for allowing Andrews Products to be part of their winning seasons.
