ANDREWS A431 TRANSMISSION WINS SECOND STRAIGHT NATIONWIDE CHAMPIONSHIP

 

With a second place finish in Saturday’s Ford 300 at Homestead-Miami Speedway, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. (Roush Fenway Racing) won his first NASCAR Nationwide Series Drivers Championship giving Andrews Products their second consecutive Nationwide Series Drivers Championship.    Carl Edwards (Roush Fenway Racing) finished third in the race, which also clinched the 2011 Nationwide Series Owners Championship for Roush Fenway Racing as well.  Brad Keselowski (Penske Racing) was able to hold off the two car Roush Fenway Racing tandem to win Saturday Night’s Ford 300 to close out a very successful year for Andrews Products in the Nationwide Series.    

 

Carl Edwards (Roush Fenway Racing) was edged out  by Tony Stewart to finish second in Sunday’s Ford 400 and with that second place finish, he finished second in the 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Championship points.  During the 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season, the Andrews A431 Transmission ended up with an impressive 16 race wins, 20 pole positions and 7 of the top 12 finishing cars in the 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Championship.  

 

Our congratulations and thanks go out to everyone at Roush Fenway Racing for their 2011 championship season and to all of our customers for allowing Andrews Products to be part of their winning seasons.  In addition, our congratulations go out to Tony Stewart and the entire Stewart Haas Racing organization for their 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Championship.
