Oscillating arm follower systems can be designed with SWINGD4, a 4 exponent polynomial curve fit program. All input values can easily be changed with a mouse and rerun in real time. SWINGD4 generates oscillating arm follower cam data with manufacturing and inspection data for any size probe. All data output is interpolated (with cubic splines) to one degree integer increments. Either left or right hand systems can be considered.

SWINGD5 is similar to SWINGD4 but uses 5 exponents. As with SWINGD4, all rocker arm geometry is accounted for by designing valve motion, then working backwards to calculate the correct cam shape. An outline picture of the actual cam is a one key option. SWINGD5 generates oscillating arm follower cam data with manufacturing and inspection data for any size probe.
